Hello Fellow Stampers,
I saw this fun folder from Jackie Williams from NZ. I knew I had to make it with the Splendid Thoughts Suite I think it worked out well. I used different die’s to her and DSP.
You will need 2 CardStock bases with one slightly smaller that one goes inside of the card. Fold the non glued side in 1/2 make sure you use the bone folder to make the crease deeper, so it lays flat. On the front of the card add your DSP but only glue the edges of the DSP as you are going to die cut the middle. Pick your die of choice I used the scalloped Contours Dies, the rectangle works as well. Decorate the die cut piece but make sure it doesn’t go over the edges. Now put your die in the centre of the front and die cut it out. Only the front of your card. And with a spare piece of CardStock cut the same size out for inside of your card.
Keep the DSP for another project. With the CardStock piece line it up with the front of the card and the folded piece and glue just 1/2 that will meet the folded part. (See photo.)
With the other die cut piece you will need to match it behind of the die piece that you glued down on the fold but before you do that add your sentiments etc.. when you close your card it should click together if not just use your bone folder again.
This suite of products is retiring on 5/1/23
